Decided to take the car for a cruise today, open the door and bam!

I took the top off sprayed white vinegar all over the place and I'm currently letting it sit and air out. Does anyone know a professional that cleans this type of stuff in Seattle or has any advice?

Griots could do it. Or any good detailer should be able to steam the hell out of it and get it clean. I think they make stuff specifically for this.

I always leave one of these in my car to collect any moisture that might have collected in the car.

Thats crazy. Do you keep the car outside?
In addition to the desiccant, leaving the windows down about an inch or so should help keep air flowing, as well as keep pressure off the rubber seals.

Mold forms on dirt, not on clean surfaces.

I'd think this a common enough problem in Seattle that there are several places that can deal with it.

Nice! I ran and picked 2 of these up Sunday morning and tossed them in. The interior looked much dryer than usual this morning. How often should I check to empty the can?


Unfortunately yes. I'm in the process of saving for a house/condo with a garage, We're so close to summer that I'll probably just leave it outside but next fall is a different story.

I cleaned it pretty well. Going to go further in depth this weekend. I can't decide if I should take it to someone as it was only on this part of the seat.

I went 3 weeks between dumping it out last time and it was a 5th full, probably going to do it every other week to be safe from now on. I park mine in one of those portable car ports, it isn't ideal but it keeps the harsh elements off the car. I'm hoping to buy a house and Remedy that by next winter though.
