We had an IS for less then a year. I only lost a little bit on the taxes. It wasn't enough car. It's really tiny inside. Back seats all but unuseable by adults.
PS. Today some redneck insulted my S2k lol, cut me off and said I should give the car back to my girlfriend (meaning its a girls car)

Congrats, it did end up taking longer than I thought, but at least you didn't cut back on the price too much from what you originally wanted and now that summer is about here there should be a stronger market. I'm nearly positive you'd have had an easier sale in Seattle though at that price, different areas.

funny I came across this post. Im in Mass and I went from ISF (I actually had 2 of them) to S2000
let me know if you have any questions about them. These two cars couldn't be more different from each other and 12+ ISF is the way to go if you can swing it

edit: well i actually got M235i w/LSD already, ISF was my 1st choice but they are hard to find for a good price in good condition. How did you like those ISFs ? I figure a side form reliability M235i might actually a better drivers/performance car, no ?
The ISF was a great car. The V8 sounds amazing with an exhaust and quite reliable. Performance/Drivers car, i think the new generation of turbo BMW cars are on a whole different level. Some bolt ons and a tune, the M235 would probably walk the ISF

Haha.....I was looking at it online for 36-38k I think and later noticed it in office parking lot in Framingham
How much did you trade it in for?
