Default weird question

so I have been pondering.... this might be a simple answer for most but i am curious. so if you have a right hand drive vehicle and its manual, is the shifting pattern reverse also? basically so if you are looking at it from a birds eye view does it still have 1st gear on the upper left? or is it reversed so 1st gear is on the right closer to the driver?

Wrong^^

In RHD cars the gears are reversed. So are the pedals.. Your left foot is the gas, etc. Car manufacturers do this because they need everything to be close to one side (centered) and it helps with the cars CG when load is applied towards the center (otherwise the car could pull away to the right.)

Pretty sure above poster is trolling lol Pedals and gear pattern are the same as LHD models... I had an r33 skyline and a Nissan GTI-R.
