Default Soft top drains

Morning all, I thought I was imaging things when I could hear water sloshing about somewhere in rear of the car, done a search on here ( lots of threads as it turns out ) blocked drain holes seemed to be the culprit, had a feel about but couldn't find anything, fortunately a friend has use of a ramp, put her up and there they are, stuck right up at the top of the wheel arch, gave them a quick blast with a air hose and it was like a mini waterfall! I couldn't believe how much water ( and crap ) came out mostly over my arm! Anyway the point of the thread, I would really like to clean the drains out thoroughly, is there an easy way?

I'm keen to find an answer to this as well. I found a How To https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/102...-top-drainage/ but the pictures would not show.

There is one drain hole per tank with one rubber hose off it. A few things can cause them to block but usually it is a build up of silt and leaves etc. Often when people have their roofs replaced the odd screw gets in there and thats a bad one!

You can look into the tanks from above, you just need to pry part of the plastic door/body casing aside and shine a torch down. I imagine what you have done will have been perfectly sufficient.

I blasted down the drains with hose and used a coat hanger like a backstreet abortion up the rubber outlet. (I've since bought a pipe cleaning tool that's pretty useful)
