Well it's slowly come to amy attention that since I bought my current s2000 it has never felt quite right it has always felt a little strange and unstable at higher speeds and recently it is getting more noticeable to me. I have noticed under hard braking the car will yank to the left and under acceleration it pulls a little to the right a little. It also behaves very weirdly on any surface that isn't smooth
. I have checked the tire pressures but to me it must be a deeper issue and seems like one of the wishbone bushes has gone. Now I know the only thing to do is check them all but does anyone know which in particular is prone to to cause such an issue. Or does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you checked the alignment? My went a bit hairy at high speed and the rears were way out. In fact it all was.

Now it feels very planted although i did go for a different setup to std

On the brakes mine has always been very straight

What tyres are you running and what condition are they in?
When was your geometry last done?

I had same problem.

replaced bushes and rear brakes.

now straight as hell

Check your rear lower trailing arm bushes / balljoints haven't worn out / failed.

The feeling you're describing resonates with me. Is this something that can be checked out at the Honda garage?

Sounds familiar. As above tyres & geo, but remember to check for spring spacers! Don't know how old your car is, but I had one on mine when I got it at 60k. Was in the OSR and gave some interesting handling characteristics.

Cheers for all the replies,

The Car is currently on 17" Oz SuperLeggera's with Nankang NS2R's All round. But it feels the same on the standard OEM 16" wheels and tyres so i don't think the wheels or tyres are the issue.

I had the alignment looked at about 8 months ago but it didnt seem to bad so i never got round to getting it adjusted as i fear the bolts may be seized :S. Here's what it looked like at the time and nothing has been undone on the car since then so it should be the same.



The car is on lowered Tien springs and standard shocks and definitely doesn't have any spring spacers still in place.

At some point this week im going to get it up on the ramp and pry bar test everything and see if i can pin point any perished bushes.

The front toe won't help with it feeling vague and wandery at speed. Ideally on a rwd car you want a small amount of static toe in which will even out when moving. I'd get it set parallel and try to get the front camber evened up as best you can. The rear, although not ideal, shouldn't have too much of an adverse affect.
