Back Up Fuse Blowing

Back Up Fuse Blowing
I have a 2005 car which at the weekend started stalling when I took my foot off the accelerator. The revs would just die until it stalled.
I cleaned the IAC valve and everything appeared OK but then I noticed that every time I turned the car off, the interior fan speed and instrument cluster clock were being reset. I found the Back Up fuse had blown so replace it and it instantly blew again.
I'm assuming I have a short in the wiring somewhere but am struggling to find any diagrams for this circuit. It also seems strange that it has happened at the same time I had the IAC valve off.
Anyone have any ideas or know of a specialist near Winchester that might be able to help?
