Central Scotland Meet - Saturday 18th June *
Background
-------------------------------------------------------
Hi All,
I’m looking to form a meet with folk around central Scotland/Edinburgh’ish area.
Ideally, it would be great if we can get 4+ people involved at the start with the hopes of making it a more frequent event, perhaps once every 2 months or a bigger quarterly event.
For the 1st kick off we could plan a route that takes around 2-4hours, see how it goes, see who’s interested, then branch off into covering all the roads Scotland has to offer us in the future.
Who would be interested in the 18th of June ’16?
--------------------------------------------------------
Update 17/6/2016 @ 4:27PM GMT+1:
For the first trip, I've sketched in a drive from Edinburgh to Glencoe, taking in Duke's pass, Lake of Menteith, Loch of Achray, Loch of Venachar, the A85 (alongside the River Dochart) and sucking in the views on our route to Glencore via the A82.
The trip so far from A -> B is 136 miles according to my calculations, which gives us around 3 hour of driving fun from point to point.
Planning to schedule in 2 stops on our way for coffees and snacks.
Starting point: The Maybury Casino, 1-5 S Maybury, Edinburgh EH12 8NE
Time: 10:00AM

You're absolutely right.
According the bible (BBC weather), this Sunday is looking good.
I was going to go for a spin anyway, we could potentially get nikc1 involved too if you're interested? That's 3 BB S2Ks

Negative, I am working on Sunday Bloody typical!
I had 3 days off this week and had planned to go for a good blast to break in some Michelin Pilot Sport 4s I just had fitted. Went over on my ankle badly so have been house bound for the 3 days and driving is bloody painful as it is my clutch foot
Have got a real buzz for the car just now after going to Mega Meet at Dunblane and sampling the roads around there. Would love to be doing something like that much more often.
I work most weekends but with 3-4 weeks notice I can arrange a day off to suit no problem. I am off tomorrow and would be up for meeting but realise it is probably far too short notice!
