Default Hands Free

I'm thinking about upgrading my headunit to a hands free unit with Bluetooth so I can wirelessly listen to music, make calls etc.

The million dollar question is is hands free calling in the S2K a waste of time due to noise pollution etc?

Where's the best place to mount the mic?

I've got my mic just to the left of my sun visor and it's not a problem making calls etc. with my Milltek exhaust and window down. Obviously though I imagine it's very dependent on the quality of the mic as well. But any half decent one will be fine, as mine's just a standard Alpine unit one.

That's good to hear, I'll be opting for an Alpine too (probably the 178BT) as I've already got the modify harness etc...

How easy was it to feed the cable up the a-pillar trim? Does the mic stick out like a sore thumb or does the install look tidy?

Some pictures of the microphone location would be useful.

Thanks

I'll try and grab some pics of the mic today. But feeding it up the pillar is a doddle, everything just pops of with a couple of obviously placed screws.
