Clutch smell sitting at a stop?

Im guessing they will give you some quote for $1k+ worth of work, which if you have them do, will result in them fixing nothing you are complaining about now, and potentially breaking a few new things. Potentially very expensive things. Which they will then blame on you. They are infallible experts, after all.

I took a shot at adjusting it; even with the rod clocked to provide maximum play, I still got a bit of smell. Tightened up the play and got smell too. My rear center caps are hot so there is an ebrake issue, but the clutch is still suspect.
On another note, target acquired. Would this leaky SOB do it? Disregard the zoo animal that clearly lived under there at one point.

How's the tranny oil level? May have a main seal leak on tranny input or engine main dripping fluid onto clutch area. Fluid gets burnt -> smell.
