7670 in top mount: pfab t3 ss vs t4 ts
grabbed 7670 t3 and just saw pfab's t4 ts...
So i m curious should i return t3 and get t4 ts with corresponding pfab's manifold?
I'm expecting t3 7670+top mount eq length be already full boosting in low 4s range, so just how much better spool t4 ts is going to offer? What about highs i heard t4 ts is actually more restrictive than t3 open, is that so?
Will cost me hassle and probably about $300 more to go ts, and since i m determined to avoid forward mount t4 options are extremely limited.
My goal is 500...
p.s. what? you have to lift engine to put pfab mani on oem studs?

From what I've read, the divided t4 has the t4 bolt pattern, with a divided t3 inlet. You will have to port the housing for it to match a true t4 inlet size.
I really want to try a billet 7670sxe (s257).
From full-race's website:
If using this turbocharger with a Twinscroll t4 manifold, Full-Race recommends porting (gasket matching) the turbine inlet to t4 size. The following images explain this:
