I was hoping to get some help with a frustrating problem I'm having with my 2008 Base. I bought a new set of headlights from Honda.
33151-S2A-A21 Left
33101-S2A-A21 Right

I removed the drivers side headlight assembly and swapped all the HID electronics and bulbs over to the new housing. I'm trying to install the new housing and things just aren't lining up correctly. I'm having a lot of trouble with that hidden bolt behind the housing. I did manage once to get everything bolted in without stressing anything, but then the metal bar that installs under the housing wouldn't line up. It's like the housing is maybe 3-4mm too low. I can't push the bar up high enough to get the bolts in.

After an hour of this, I took the new housing out and put the old one back in place. I wanted to see if I was doing something wrong reinstalling it. Everything lined up fine.

Any advice guys? I could really use some help.

Well, it's done. The driver's side was really difficult to get lined up, but I slept on it and was able to get things done this morning. The passenger's side took 10 minutes. Very strange.

Anyway, nothing to see here. Just me overreacting (they were expensive and I didn't want to mess them up).
