Would this work for the S2000?
Hey guys, I was on YouTube and I stumbled across a video about permanently cleaning the headlights. I watched it all and decided to get the stuff needed. I'm still hesitant to do it until someone here confirms it's safe and works for the S2000. My headlights are pretty badly yellowed so this would be of great use to my S2000. Any comments about this method is appreciated. Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEJbKLZ7RmM

I don't believe it will be permanent. I'm guessing it might last a few years at most. Then you will have to sand off the clear paint.
Personally, I don't mind touching up my headlights every 4 or 5 months. I use the 3M kit, Meguiars G17110 protectant and the same sealant I use for the rest of my car (Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection)over the Meguiars.

Sorry for replying to an old post, but I plan on doing this very soon and I want to make sure that this is safe and useful for our S2000's. Will wet sanding the headlights with 600 then 2000 grit sandpaper and then clear coating the headlight will return it to clear? My headlights are really yellow and ugly. Thanks

i've tried that process but not on a s2000. you'll need time to let the clear coat dry before it turns clear, i think it took 2~3 days but it was during winter and my car was not driven at all.
if you are not comfortable with the clear coat part, just do the sanding part, and polish the head lights until it turns clear
