New AP1 driver--late husband was original owner
Hello everyone! My late husband was the original owner of my all-black 2001 s2k. He died 2 years ago and I've just recently gotten her up and running (was too hard to deal with before now). Was originally planning to sell, but then I drove her . . . I'm on the Eastside and looking to learn more about my car, how to drive it well, and how to take good care of her. She needs some TLC as she was in hibernation for some time. Hope to attend a meet up real soon and make some new friends.

Gosh, so sorry to hear of your loss But happy to hear you have reconsidered your dealings with the car, and welcome to the Club! We have some very knowledgeable members here locally and on this website in general. Its a very fun and special car, but one thing that makes it great to own is that it requires very little maintenance due to it still being a Honda. But age and sitting around can start to take a toll on a few things and am sure people here would be happy to offer you any tips/advice on some current or preventative issues you may be facing. We do have some regular meet ups we do on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays still I do believe. These three regular meets are threads to check on, which are posted in the top of the stickied page of this forum. Hope to meet sometime

Nice one. I bet your late husband would have been thrilled to know that you're enjoying the car as much as he did.
Go on the region specific area of this site and look/ask for a reputable mechanic that is familiar with these cars so it can be serviced. Also if you have a limited knowledge of cars ask for the mechanic to show you how to keep a check on fluid levels etc.
