You might want to look further into detail on why your cam towers are messed up. it could very well be oil pressure related.

unless you just misplaced them. Good luck.

the actual parts in your head that hold the camshaft. The cam shaft rotates in these - they are the bearings for the cam shaft. if removing your cam shaft you would take off the top part of the cam towers and the bottom part of the tower would remain attached to the head.

I hope this helps explain it.

In addition, they are a matched set because they are all line-bored at the same time, meaning the journal bearings are bored (cut) at the same time through the pieces so the cam shaft aligns perfectly. I know there have been people that use upper halves from one car and put them on another car and they report no problems. This may be the case and their engines are fine, the camshafts spin 1/2 rpm of the crank. Personally I wouldn't mix and match cam tower parts from different cars.

Cam towers are what the cams sit in. They are located on top of the cylinder head.

WELP if thats what they are, then i have an extra set of them. The ones in that picture of my old F20c engine.
