A Glorious Death
Well, it finally happened.
Today, Spa Francorchamps, the Kemmel straight 110mph, shift up to 5th, a graunching noise, oil and battery lights come on, engine stops running, smoke in the cabin emanating from the transmission tunnel.
Clutch down, hazards on, coast off the circuit and behind the barriers. A trail of oil left behind.
On to a flatbed and back to the pits, car is now on a lorry heading towards Daytona Autos where, perhaps, it will be brought back to life...
A sad day indeed, but it's how it would have wanted to go, I think.
144,000 miles, give or take...

Can't think of a better place to expire it. Done well that car, if it survives this, you really need to name it Triggers Broom
