Those who have tinkered with AEM Tuner..
Evening gents,
I have an AEM 30-6052 EMS and want to get my damn CEL light turned off, to start with at least. However ultimately, I want to use my CEL as a knock warning to trigger after a specific knock voltage.
So, simple bit first, below is a screenshot of my output config window. Now, I believe LS#10 is the CEL output light, so is it a simple case of deselecting the 'Enable pin' check box, or should I set the 'Switch Input' to 'Always off'? I'll try either/both if no body knows for sure, but I'm conscious of aimlessly changing settings I'm not particularly familiar with - I guess in this case I'm probably safe though.
So on to the big question - has anyone made the CEL trigger as a knock sensor?
If this isn't possible (through pure software settings) then how about triggering the light for temps over say, 210F?
I have tried to do some reading up but all I can find is reference to the series 1 ECU's or where someone just says "my tuner did it for me" - I'm sure it's out there, but I can't find it
Looking forward to you ever appreciated help

You're correct with the LS10 pin as it does bring the cel light on.
I don't know how to set it up though so it will come on under different fault conditions. I have serial gauges that indicate if a value is out of range, e:g high temp.
Have you thought about one/some of them? You can monitor multiple channels.

I like my two on the pillar. I hate them on top of the dash, so yeah each to there own
Tablet sounds good. I have a tablet and magnetic keyboard which I use to monitor, log and make changes to my map. Only probably is the touch screen. I wouldn't want to change setting using it an much prefer the keyboard. It real easy to just touch the screen and make an adjustment.

I wanted the same - no gauges, but warning for oil temp and pressure. So I use a 7 inch Win tablet on a mount that is easily removable when I don't need it (normal road driving). Agree with the keyboard comments above - I've got a Bluetooth keyboard with track pad.

I liked my two on the pillar, but always wanted to keep it looking standard, so was always looking at other options!
Looked at the JDM install with a windows tablet, but also :
