Clutch gone?

Clutch gone?
Probably going to get flamed for this but I done a burnout in my s2k, the clutch had already been smelling a couple days prior with some hard driving, and as I went from second gear into 3rd gear I felt no power or anything. Let it roll down the hill, inspected the car. Engine starts etc. When engine is on, I can put the car into every gear without touching the clutch pedal. Once it is in gear, there is no pull and the car doesn't drive. Engine revs fine.
It is like the clutch is constantly disengaged, no biting point.
My first thought is clutch is gone, but I wondered if you had any thoughts on anything else being the problem. It is currently sat at a garage at the moment, waiting on them to take a look at it on the side as it's my mates garage
Cheers

Dear Mr Yobbo,
Please refrain from driving like a c@#t and pushing the rest of our insurance premiums through the roof! :ROLF:

Start in the engine bay:
Check clutch fluid, is there any?
Check master cylinder, is it still there, when depressed does it rock slightly?
Check slave cylinder, is it there? Take it off and check operation. do not depress clutch pedal with slave off car as chances are the piston will shot out the slave cylinder and leak fluid all over your face.
Check gearbox is there.
Prop shaft...is it there?
Diff, is it there?
Axles, are they there?
raise rear wheels, disengage handbrake, rotate rear wheel, listen for any rattles / noises that are indicative of a f@#ked diff or axles.
If the above yields no results, change your clutch. if that does work, change your gearbox.

Haha it was a one time thing, peer pressure from my friends I am normally very mechanically sympathetic.
Thanks for your responses.
No bangs or rattles when it happened
Clutch fluid is there although a little dark and needs a flush really.
Haven't checked for the Master or slave cylinder I will do this now. Axles are still there, diff is still there, gearbox is still there, propshaft is still there.
I will post again with further updates
