Powder coat V2 17" wheels?

Powder coat V2 17" wheels?
Guys I've got some slightly worse for wear oem 17's. Are they safe to powder coat due to the heat they use to bake them?
Has anyone had theirs done?

My dad had a set of aftermarket wheels for his land rover, and after a few years the paint just laminated off and there was corrosion underneath. I have since always been put off getting/buying stuff that has been powder coated.

I also want to get my facelift v1 17's refurbished. I can't decide on paint or powder coating. I've seen powder coated wheels which seem to have bubbled after a few years. I thought this process was supposed to last longer than paint? Or would this be due to bad prep work?
If anyone in the Suffolk/Essex/Norfolk area has had there's done I would like to know where and how much it cost please.

There are plenty of reputable wheel refurbishers out there.
Some of the finishes used to require a wet coat over the top of powder coat and that was like trying to paint Teflon, so that invariably falls off.
That was a bit of a problem with the plastic hub caps on the 'Lude's Motegis; they had to be wet-painted.
But the biggest danger to powder-coated wheels seems to be me...
