Default S2000 emblem removal and fitting

Hi all

I was thinking to remove the S2000 badge on the wing to spray it an anthracite/gunmetal colour to match my wheels and also ditch the little Honda badge above it.
To remove am I right in thinking just a heat gun and leverage to remove the badge and glue remover to get rid of the gunk?
but to re-fit, is there a special type of glue to use so not to damage paintwork if I want to remove again? or should I play safe and just use double sided tape and cut it out with a craft knife? anyone done this before?

Thanks

Heat up with a hair drier and use dental floss or fishing line.

This should help when sticking them back on and just use 3M tape.

Before you decide to do this please search removing s2000 emblem. The Honda bit is easy. The s2000 is a giant pain in the arse. It takes ages and is very difficult. I used hair driers wd40 and it was still almost impossible. Read the woes of other people before taking the s2000 bit off. After all this I would recommend instead painting it whilst on the car.
