Default Platinum vs Iridium

Giving my car a service this weekend and just deciding on plugs
Is there much benefit in going for Iridium's over the platinum's?
any pro's/con's, what are people here using?

I think the NGK IX are cheaper - really not much in it, tbh I think I'm going standard copper next time around

OEM PFR7G-11S as recommended. Why would you use anything else?

Stick to platinum, if you search about iridium I posted a few months ago, in short don't bother unless your highly modified.

The iridium ones are half the price and do the same job as the platinum ones. I ran them on mine and run them on my current F20C. No issues, no misfires so why not.

It's £35.75 for 4 platinum or £29.99 for iridium from Opie, so hardly going to break the bank.

Do the platinum ones come pre-gapped?

The OEM PFR7G-11S plugs come gapped to spec. That's the "11" in the model number.

Go OEM- one of my Iridiums is failing, it's not worth the haasle! Currently trying to sort a misfire with no fault codes being displayed- fingers crossed this is the one!

I had something similar, pretty sure it was a leaky spark plug tube seal that was causing it.
