I had mine blasted and refitted at 120k miles.

I'm on 160k miles now and still no ticking.

Was a £5 fix.

Def worth a go before shelling out for a ballade one IMO.

100% agree. The ballade does give piece of mind, but £300!! thats two sets of mats!!

Jay, just did the worm bit, then washed it off with brake cleaner

Done mine today and it sounds a lot better. Easily done with a sandblaster

id refurb dude, its easy to do.

I bought a new oem one from tegiwa, lasted 2 months. so i refurbed the old one and put that back in and its still running well!
