The IRDC is including an Advanced Lapping group with their TnT day, Friday Sept 16th. $180 for (6) 20 min sessions. Previous lapping/racing experience is required.

Schedule and Details

The upside: tons of track time for your dollar at an awesome track and it's in conjunction with a race weekend so there will be lots of great race cars to check out as well.

The downside: factory rollover protection doesn't cut it so this would only apply to folks with aftermarket rollbars, not an uncommon reality unfortunately.

Once you click into register for the event it will allow you to select Friday and Lapping. The Group will be limited to 25 cars so if you're interested register quickly.


Finally, the Olympic Grand Prix kart track at TRMS is hosting a 1-hour karting enduro for $100/team: 1-4 driver teams allowed. Stops every 15 minutes. So after the lapping day, you can test your endurance in karts!

I would definitely make it to this, too bad they won't allow with the factory roll hoops :/

If I remember correctly, It's not required for SCCA and few other organizations since the S2000's A pillar combined with factory hoops provide descent rollover protection (especially for just a lapping event)
