Why is there no options!?
Is there really no option but to nurse a standard gearbox or spend 8k on a sequential box and make your car unusable on the road!
Please someone say there is another option or I am going to buy another standard box.
Yes the stock standard s2000 box is very strong.. But it does break 2nd gear when you don't baby it on boost cos second is so far back left. I have also twisted the main shaft on this box!!!
Help me out!

Honda didn't design it to run on boost so you can't complain.

Honda didn't design it to run on boost so you can't complain.

Just to be clear,
Don't want a drag set up - looking at 6 speed road set ups.
Not a standard box, they don't handle the boost.
Options suggested so far are: Gforce 6speed street box,
Supra box, t5 box.
Anyone have any more info? What is the difference when they say about helical gears

Part of the attraction ( for me at least ) is the feel of the gear change in this. Can you not just be sympathetic with your changes or feather the power in a bit?

Yes I do like the mechanical feel of the gear change and the standard box does have that classic well oiled machanical feeing, I just want something similar, but won't twist the gear linkage shifting from first to second or main shaft when changing down 3-2, after all why would you give the car all the power and then not use it because of the tranny.. Upgrade the tranny!
Am interested to hear how people are getting on with deifferent boxes, how did people get on after the group buy of Gforce street boxes...? Who has done the supra 6 speed, TDi north tipped me off on that one.
