Default An alarming issue while crossing the Stelvio Pass....

Whilst descending, my alarm kept setting off whilst going round the broader left hand corners...

Very worrying as I was fearful that the immobiliser was cutting in.

I seem to have identified the cause... I was using my spare key and I think the S2Ki fob was hitting the set button on the alarm fob. The problem hadn't recurred since I swapped the fobs round on the key ring...

Now to sort out the soft brake pedal ...,

A few years back I was in very rural France when the same things happened. Everytime I turned a corner the alarm went off. After at least five times pulling over and resetting it with the ignition key I was starting to wonder how far away my local friendly English speaking Honda dealer would be. But then it dawned on me what the cause was.

Mrs Andy2000 had the spare key in her handbag which was on her lap and was pushing ever so slightly down on it as I entered the corners. a brief re-jig of said bag contents and we were on our way south again without any further trouble.
