Default S2K mechanic in Fauquier County VA area

Having problems with my recently purchased car and can't seem to figure it out. Anyone know of a reputable shop that knows this car in the Warrenton/Gainesville VA area? The car will not start and will need to be towed.

What's going on with it? Does it do anything when you hit the start button?

Here's a link to my current thread on this problem

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/116...ion-at8k-rpms/

I think I killed the battery trying to start it over and over last night. Before the battery died and after it shut off on me while driving it was cranking, but not firing and the typical sound of compression across all strokes wasn't the same.

Gotcha. If it sounded like something easy electrical I'd try to give you a hand. I'm a mechanic and live near Marshall. Unfortunately I don't have much time the next few weekends and I work in Springfield so it's a little far to tow it there. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.

I appreciate that! I live in Warrenton. Just moved here.

Bad news though... Pulled the plugs up to #3 and it was a little tight getting it out. It's destroyed. Hopefully the engine damage isn't too bad. I had the car towed to Inline Pro yesterday once I saw it was internal damage.

I just can't believe this happened after owning the car for 5 days.

Sorry for the news, I have never dealt with Inline before but they do have high HP s2ks so I'm sure they will be able to bring the car back to life.

Appreciate it. The motor is done. Bottom end was the only thing salvageable. They found a promising used motor so they're throwing that in with their TCT and an upgraded clutch for a supercharged future. Previous owner was clearly a poor maintainer and bad driver.

That sucks man. Glad to hear it's on its way back to being roadworthy though. Once you get it up and running I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
