Clutch/transmission noise
Evening all, I'm getting a 'shush' sort of noise when I'm coasting in gear, that goes away when I put my foot on the clutch. It sounds like a bearing sort of noise to me, but I'm no expert.
It's a genuine OEM clutch and has only done about a thousand miles. Gearbox oil was changed a couple of months ago and has done even less mileage, and diff oil isn't due for ages.
I can't remember, having the noise before the clutch change, but I drive the car so infrequently these days that I could easily have forgotten. I'll get it looked at but just for peace of mind in the meantime, is it normal to have a bit of noise? It's not particularly loud.
Cheers, FB
