Could someone remind me of the volume each x indicates on the dip stick? I'm not sure if it is 100ml or 250ml. The manual doesn't state.

I'm half way between the upper and lower measures and want to to up before tomorrow's run over the St Gotthard, Furka, Grimsel and Susten passes.

I'm amazed you went in a road trip and didn't check the oil was fully topped up before leaving. I don't think my oil has ever been at half measure. Why risk it, especially over seas?

I did check and top it up - I'm 1800 miles in

I just needed up to know how much to pour out as I don't want to overfill

I've just been to Salisbury, England and back and didn't check my oil. You've now got me worried so will check it before I go to Wilton, England this afternoon.

Wow, Phil, those are some of Southern Wiltshire's finest commuter routes. Do you ever go as far as Petersfinger? Definitely need to check your lube if you do, especially for the return journey.
