[SIZE="5"]Meet at 630am, gassed and ready to go at the Chick-fil-a in Providence shopping center (Mount Juliet just off I-40), we'll grab food and then leave at 7 SHARP. If you guys have a more suitable meeting place, let me know. I'm flexible. Should arrive in Marysville around 11 Eastern time and 11-1130 Start the first leg of the drive![/SIZE]

Treat this trip like a track day.

Check fluids
Check brakes
Make sure your battery is decent!!
Check tires
Check belts
Ensure all components in engine bay are secure e.g. battery tray, fluid reservoirs etc.
Remove unnecessary junk from driving area, stuff will fly around!


Do your best to ensure your car is ready, you don't want to be the one that holds up the group.


If you show up with bald tires and have a flat during the trip we may just leave you behind.

If your car isn't ready don't come.

Don't get hammered the night before, these roads are dangerous at normal driving speeds. You will need to be on your toes for this event.

Be smart and don't drive beyond your limits.

Look through the corners, your car will follow your eyes.
If the lead car goes down a dirt road don't follow!

I won't be making this, but I will suggest you guys grab beer at Nantahala Brewery in Bryson City. I don't know what's in the water there but it makes for impressive beer.
