EireannS2k- avoid
I bought an ASM exhaust of him for top money, it was said to be in good condition and it wasnt. When I un wrapped it there was clearly and obviously damage on it. He says he didnt know it was damaged and then said he paid a garage to fit it and they hit it with a hammer to make it fit!
Then accused me of altering and it in some way making the damage on it worse than when he had it!
He initially accepted the damage but didn't want to do anything about it. It took nearly a month and a public slating to get him to make a small refund on this. Even then he wouldn't refund me until I removed my posts from his for sale thread.

but understandable.
If the same idiots fitted and removed the other stuff I would expect damage on them too. My advice would be to thoroughly inspect anything he has before giving money as EireannS2k does not seem very observant.
Naj,
Contact the other buyers of my parts, not one has had a problem.
You got your refund as requested and then STILL post this..
I guess I was right to question your honesty from the start.
I still state that the damage was not to the extent that it was when it left my garage.
I accepted immediately that IF there was damage I would "make it right" but I wanted proof that it was caused by me.
As you said yourself it "wasnt severe or difficult to fix"
But yet you wanted 12.5% of the sale price even though it was "not a big deal"
I also was away for a week on holidays during this, hence the extended time frame.
As for a "public slating"?? It was an open dialogue which concluded in me giving you what you wanted as YOUR pictures were inconclusive as to how/who caused the damage in YOUR pictures.. unfortunately the pictures that I took didnt show very noticeable damage but none the less I conceded that there was some damage and gave you what you asked for. I rightly had to conduct my own investigations before just giving any money back. The conclusion was that I will in future inspect any items I have for sale and take multiple pictures in order to protect myself and the buyer from any future repeat of a situation like this.
Anyway, good luck with your purchase and the money you got back...
