Not very...its depends on usage. The cone types need more cleaning than those buried in the PRM's

I did mine out of curiosity, but I reckon every 10-20k miles.

I think this was mentioned in the paperwork that came with my PRM (how to and how often) IIRC it said something like annual or 12k miles... of course I didn't keep it after I read it
