After seeing the Rocket City Logo and talking with RBC3, I think it would be good for our Community to do some of the same. The Atlanta people have some great stuff for sale and I personally would like to have these luxuries for our Community too. I hope everyone else is in favor of this.

I'm looking for some input and ideas on what we could incorporate into a logo for our community and what types of things we would want, ie shirts, hats, mugs, etc.

Not bad...you got any contacts in the industry? We know some folks up in Glasgow KY that owned a shop, but they sold it last year. They may still have some influence though.

Mebbe instead of incorporating the entire car, you can incorporate a small piece of the car....engine head mebbe, or side badging with the sidemarker....that sorta thing.

I also hate to bite off other community logo's such as atlanta, alabama, arizona etc. Remember it has to be something that can be simplified into almost line art for certain things

What if you took the chrome and white surround on the words music city... Made a honda H with that combo and pushed the layer to the background as a backdrop for the logo and text.

Hmm, i'll see maybe tomorrow what it looks like...maybe a shadow of an H would be better.
I don't know about the legalities of using the actual Honda "H"
risque enough using the S2000

While it may be trademark infringement, it's in Honda's best interest to allow you to use it. May be technically illegal, but the most they could do is give you a cease and decist order. But I doubt they'd care enough, maybe even encourage it. Free advertising!

For such a small production item with no intent for profit I doubt they will hunt us down with dogs and ninjas.
