Just got back from a week's tour to Germany.
Stayed in the Park Hotel, Bremen - a truly beautiful & relaxing place.
Some points:
What a wonderful touring car!
Never got much over 200 on the Autobahnen - too much traffic:(
Also - why do you need a telescope/microscope to see the road signs?
Never saw another S2K in 2000Km - no wonder the Germans stared so much! Loadsa SLK's obviously.
Never saw one ******g GATSO camera either:D

Is it any wonder that the Honda S2000 has been hailed by perceptive drivers as a new paragon of roadworthiness, considering that the distribution of its masses..........L J K Setright
The power of accurate observation is commonly called cynicism by those who have not got it.......George Bernard Shaw
Ever since September of 2008, we have seen the fruits of the fiat money roots that Mises warned against almost a century ago. But modern free-market economists are as hostile to Mises's theory of the business cycle as they were hostile to Mises's theory of the economic irrationalism of socialism . . . until the Soviet Union fell. Then, they got religion, but they still never mention Mises. It was as if he had never lived....Gary North

Hi Nick,
A quick question.
Did you take your roof cover with you and if so what did you do with it when you had the roof up?

When we down to S. France (4K mile trip.... :D ) we really wanted to take the cover....
We didn't have any room
It doesn't fit behind the seat nor the roof well....

Hi Tony!
Yes, the cover was on all the way there. I think it cuts turbulence at Autobahn speeds.
The trouble is, Bremer weather is like British, only more changeable. No sooner had we unloaded the car at the hotel, the gathering thunderclouds broke spectacularly!
By the time I got the cover off & the roof up, we were all soaked!
Bright sunshine half an hour later.
BTW, I usually find you can stuff the cover over/under/around stuff in the boot, with trial and error. You just have to be a bit careful how you close the aluminium boot lid.
