Well... The dog woke me up tapping me on the head at 7.45a.m. because he wanted to go out for a slash. It's rained all morning so we can't drop the top and get out there:rolleyes: It's too wet to clean the car and a waste of time anyway by the look of it. The danger now is that Curries, Halfords and P.C. World are all just around the corner from us and it's on days like these that we tend to go just 'go for a look round ' and end up spending a bomb:eek: We've resisted the temptation so far. Wonder what's on the telly:rolleyes:

Yesterday, my roommate and I were at the kart track. I'll let you guess the total number of laps we completed, combined, before we had to pack it up and head for the pub.

Hint, it's a prime number.

I got up early this morning and we didn't get rain until about 11:30. So I was able to walk the dog, wash and wax the car, take a few trips to the tip and stick our other car, a Polo, through the car wash. Then to the pub.:D A great morning.

Since then the weather's been variable. Had thought about going for a drive but the clouds are gathering and, to quote Winnie the Pooh, "it looks like rain".

Went for a great drive last night around sunset. I was out so long Trisha had wondered where I had got to.

P.S. Tonky, why not get a dog flap then your dog can go out when it wants to?

Ever since September of 2008, we have seen the fruits of the fiat money roots that Mises warned against almost a century ago. But modern free-market economists are as hostile to Mises's theory of the business cycle as they were hostile to Mises's theory of the economic irrationalism of socialism . . . until the Soviet Union fell. Then, they got religion, but they still never mention Mises. It was as if he had never lived....Gary North
