With 900 miles on my car, the last two tanks have yeilded 26 and 27 MPG. I'm very pleased with that. Is this normal for you?

Wow! I don't think I've ever gone above 14 or 15 MPG. VTEC loves gas!

The most that I've gotten was 18. Then again that was with the cruise control set at 125 MPH / 200 KmH.

17 or 18 is also the best i have ever seen. I do drive like a bat out of hell though...hell, if i wanted good gas mileage, i would have gotten a civic...I wish i was getting 25+ MPG...that would ease my gas buying pains.

I almost always get 30, sometimes a bit over. Most of my driving is open road and I don't do a lot of VTEC driving. I was not expecting that kind of mileage. I suspect it will go down soon - will install SC when mileage gets to 3500:D :D :D

I get 26 to 27 in town and around 24 on the road........Hard to figure the differential here as it is counterintuitive but it is very consistent! No complaints either way however!!!

Most of my driving is in the city, on surface streets - the car has been pretty consistent - between 22 and 23 mpg. On the rare highway trips, I've maxed out at a little less than 31 mpg for one tankful, with an average of 27-28 mpg. I don't drive like a granny, but I spend most of my time on the low rpm cam. There's just no place around here to use the fun cam without attracting unwanted attention. :(

An interesting question. I average 19-20 mpg - usually steady daily freeway driving (11 miles each way), mostly in 4th or 5th gear (rarely in 6th). I can't believe I'm driving that much harder than ppl who are getting 25-30 mpg.

Why do you suppose there's so much variation in gas mileage?

About 25 MPG on road trips, but lucky to get 15-20 in the city :)

I drive it about every other weekend or so. But when I do drive it, I work it a little. So while my gas lasts me over a month, I get poor gas mileage during that time. In the 8 months that I've owned it, I think I've gotten gas 7-8 times.

I get about 30 mpg on the highway and 24 in the city. Pretty good considering I am in Vtech land most of the time.

The most I have gotten is about 30 m.p.g. on an "all-highway" trip, around town 19-23 m.p.g. is the norm. Again, no complaints.

Well, after going over 200 miles for the Irvine drive, I still had 4 bars of gas. I figure I got about 25 mpg, even with all of the vtecing that we did.

At 1100 miles, last fill-up averaged 27+. That included a lot of stop and go city driving, some e-way, and just a bit on the other side of 7K :D Who ever said it here first, It just gets better the more you drive it! sure was right!

Thank you Honda! Thank you, thank you :D :D

A bit more on my mileage. My lowest mileage (I keep records of all mileage) so far has been 27 and a fraction. I usually refill at 1/4 tank. Always use premium (as per manual) and probably VTEC to 9k up the freeway ramp 3 or 4 times a refill. About 70% of my driving is at a constant 55-70 mph. Not much around town and waiting in traffic. If there's traffic I'm in my truck! By the way, to even it out, my truck gets about 8-9 and the wife's Saturn wagon about 22. I expect my truck to burn fuel, but I'd think the wife's would be a bit better - she drives harder than I do!

Average 22mpg around town mostly, though after the Spoon exhaust, I averaged 27 with that fillup used for the SoCal meet and around town. So far, gas mileage seems to be quite a bit better after the Spoon exhaust, but I am keeping an eye on this and should know after a few more fills up.
