Default Aftermarket Seats Gallery

A few people (including myself) are probably going to be in the market for some new seats in the future, and in searching it is difficult to find a thread that is dedicated to all seats......with pictures.

So, hopefully a few more will contribute some photos and what not to this thread. Pictures don't even have to be of your car.

It looks as though I only have one decent picture to contribute:

Bride Ergo II's

Those aren't mine - I'm still stock in the seat department....those were in dave22's car, but now they've found a home in C45P312's.

My impressions of them are (with my 5'8" height and 33" waist): you're in with a tight fit on your thighs and some nut crushing after a few blocks - but - with some break in they get more comfortable ......for back coverage and upper bolsters they are very comfortable and fit like a glove.

These do not hinder the use of the glove box.

now let's get some more people with different seats in here......and don't forget the pics

I have the Bride Zeta III Type L for my big arse also. It gives a lot more support than the stock seat and also the reclinable seats.
I'm running off a Mugen seat bracket because the Bride bracket was higher than the Mugen, so then it made my thigh rub on the steering wheel.

I also have the Ergo I on my passenger seat. I had the Ergo before, but after I started tracking, I wanted a seat with more support. I tried the Mugens. They were pretty small, I did fit, but once I wore jeans and a jacket, I was squished in the seat.
Now for reference, I'm 6'1", 36 waist and I weigh 230lbs. (I KNOW I KNOW, I need to lose some weight)

I also tried the Spoon seat, the butt support is smaller, so then you sort of sink in more with the seat. Also the padding is limited, you're basically sitting on carbon. But with the price being double the Bride, I chose the Bride instead.

I'll get more pics of my seats later, we also have a Spoon seat in AJ PwR's car and a Mugen one.

Thumbs down

Could the owners please state whether or not the glove compartment access was compromised or not. That may help people with their decisions.

Bride Ergo I's. Doesn't affect glove box or door closure at all. A lot more supportive than the stock seats and more cushioning, but nowhere near as supportive as a Mugen S1 or any bucket for that matter.
