(This topic was the original thread which gathered the first Greek S2000 Owners and led to the creation of the Greek S2000 Community & Forum. For those who are interested to find out how our community was brought to life, all you have to do is go through the whole topic. Just for the record, the original title of this topic was "The Unofficial Greek S2000 Owners Thread" and is now renamed into "GREEK S2000 OWNERS! THE STARTING POINT...", just only to remind us how our Greek S2000 Community was created.)

Hello everyone.

Since there is no Official Greek S2000 Owners Thread let start an unofficial one and see how many we are here!

Not only Greek S2000 Owners are welcome here, but every Honda S2000 fan.

There are quite a lot, but I dont have any official numbers because some of the are imported as well.

And believe me, we Greeks are quite crazy with cars. :D

So shall I change the title into "The OFFICIAL Greek S2000 Owners Thread"? :D

Hey! I just saw the pics. Nice S2000's. :D

The reason you have seen only the silver one is because Honda Greece delivers only silver/grey, red and black.

Apart for the Silver S2000's, I have seen many black S2000's as well.

Other colours I have seen is three red S2000's, one Suzuka Blue and three Monte Carlo Blue (including mine). One of those is still for sale. And one yellow as well. That one was sold.

Hope you enjoyed the Olympic Games. :D

Sure did - saw the English boys winning gold in the four at the rowing, :D Kelly Holmes getting gold in the 800m, :D some world records in the cycling, and Paula Radcliffe dropping out of the marathon. :thumbdn:

Also saw the Greek lady getting silver in the triple jump.

And Dean Macey winning High Jump and 400m in the decathlon.

I thought all the venues and facilities were great, catering / beer etc was very reasonably priced, and the whole thing was very friendly  :)

Thank you very much. Unfortunately I was very busy at this period to see the events in person but I managed to go and see the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Hello there,

I am a Greek/recent/happy owner of a formula red S2K and just joined the S2KI forum. What a fantastic forum to participate in!!!. My friend energetic you just caught me redhanded (I was sending to another Greek, Aris a pm asking him how we can arrange to meet and get organized-maybe you should pm him too). I know there are not so many S2K in Greece (it is unnecessarily expensive!!!) but the car trully deserves a local organised group of enthousiasts!!!

We should meet. :D

Prospective owner here... trying to sell the car I drive at the moment.

For the Greek guys in the US I need some help to locate a nice used S2000 (2002+, I prefer 2004).

When I was in Greece last summer I saw one of the nicest S2000 there: the black 2003 S of npart (he is registered here but not a frequent poster).

Not directing this at you, but I have to say that a lot of Greeks I spoke to were very very disappointed that so many Americans stayed away from the Olympics, due to terrorism scare stories and lack of faith in the ability of Greece to police the Games :D
