So I was thinking the other day, is Dr Dre a real doctor? Either medical or doctorate degree? If not, then why is he called Dr Dre?

According to a recent interview on JJJ - Mike D from the Beastie Boys is a doctor who grafts trees to people.
There are 3 types of people, those who can count, and those who can't.

I would bloody hope not. Dr Dre raps about his chronic and weed. What sort of practice would he be running?

was dr dre from NWA or public enemy? can't remember it was so many years ago.

growing up during the early 90's and these guys were so influential in young angry male teenagers. also metallica was huge as well along with nirvana.

i don't think there are any comparable new music now that could be considered ground breaking. they certainly were innovators in their field.

i don't listen to them anymore but when a classic pops up somewhere i will sit and listen.....good times.

Almost a whole day, 23 posts, and no answer to the question posted. You guys are shocking.

Dre's real name is Andre. And for some reason he used to wear a surgical mask when performing.

Hence: Dr Dre.
