Default 'S2000' Wing Badges

After having my car compounded I would like to put the S2000 (undecided on the Honda ones) badges back on. Are there any templates available to get the alignment and height (etc), relative to the side indicator, right?

Guess you maybe need to find another owner with their badges still in place? Should be easy enough to make a template and align on the car with masking tape?

FWIW I removed the "honda" and kept the "S2000"

I like the masking tape suggestion but it's been so long without the badges I've almost forgotten how they're placed on the wing. Anyone know some measurements for the spacing that I could mark the masking tape with?

Funny that...only last night I was thinking of removing the S2000 (have never had the puny Honda ones) badges and replacing them with some tasteful Mugen ones.

I'm currently on the look out for them

I think the wings are far too long to have them plain. I probably won't replace the Honda ones but the S 2000 ones look good in my opinion.

typod: PM sent.
(Didn't think a service manual would tell you how to replace badges?! Not that I've got a service manual anyway)

Trypod provided me with a print out from the CD manual for 'S2000' emblem replacement (thanks ). The directions are helpful but require a lot of very careful measuring to get the gaps (etc) right.

I decided to try and produce a template (which may help anyone else replacing the badges, say for returning the car to standard) that would cut out the need for all the tricky measurements (not to mention the marking up).

Here is what I've come up with so far... (I couldnt fit the whole '2000' emblem in as I did this on A4 paper)

...the idea is to print this out on card/paper then cut around the dashed lines (very carefully). Providing your indicator is aligned properly everything else should be too. I may consider incorporating a marking for the bodyline too but the exact points for it aren't very clear on the manual's instructions.

Well that's the theory anyway. Just thought I'd share it

Mugen badges aren't cheap either, 25 quid or so iirc.
