Sorry, I'm out. I am glad to say I will be taking my yearly vacation in the beautiful islands of Hawaii for the next to weeks starting Tuesday. Have fun though!

Sunday would be better, but either day is possible. If Saturday, early afternoon would be better, as I could get some errands done in the AM.

Bear Mountain at 12:30pm on Saturday? Seems to me there is some kind of a restaurant there which was pretty good, get some lunch, and then out for a ride. Don't know the area well, but I know there are lots of great little roads.

In the alternative, NW Connecticut is great this time of year. If people took 84 just across the CT Line, could head up Rt 39 through Sherman towards Kent/Lake Warmaug. Great scenery, lakes.......

I've been to cold springs a few time, that would be a nice run.. The town is great if you plan on bringing your significant other.. Plenty of shopping..

Assuming the weather complies, parking lot would be good. My son is going to come along, and we will probably have his cell phone on, so if any confusion on locations, the number is 914 953-1857. Perhaps Friday afternoon we could all confirm. Do any of you have Motorola Family Radios. Might be the easiest way to keep in touch at short range. Mine is normally set to Frequency 3, sub 8.

Posted time/place to the New England Forum, and looks like two or three cars from that list are coming also. So, should be a decent turn out.

Just got my car and the motor is not even broken in yet. So, may hide in the back, and play catch up if you guys are bouncing off the rev limiters. Just wait up for me every now and then.

Anyone else going to have one of the Motorola radios, so we can keep in touch from the front to the back. Might help if we get split up somehow. These little radios work great over a mile or so.

See you all Saturday. Weather is supposed to be ok. Lunch?

No worries marj, my car will be a week old by friday, and have yet to break 210 miles. I'll be laggin behind with you =)

Derrick, why do you need to park you car if you are coming to the meet? In anycase, you are welcomed to park at mine. I'm 30 min from Bear Mt. (exit 2 on the Palisades Parkway).

Hope to see a bunch of you there this weekend... BTW, anyone know the weather?

Cheers

Brian

If you are staying in flushing, that's a different story. i have a few friends out there that i'm sure will be happy to give you a space to park your car there overnight.

No problem. Frankly, i don't think you have much to worry about except if you are parking IN flushing. But my friend lives 10 minutes from there in Whitestone. I won't be there (i'll be in jersey) and i doubt he will be either, but i will let his family know that a (color?) S2000 will be parked there. PM me for the address so not everyone stumbling on this page will know. Cheers.

Weatherman says SUNNY all day. Hooray can put the top down. Will bring a jacket and run the heat if necessary.

See you all at the Park. Sold my RX7 turbo several years ago and bought a VW Cabrio. Feels great to be back in a two seater.
