A few S2K-specific tips for newbies:
1. Take it easy on downshifting until you are real familiar with the gears (this is to avoid the infamous mechanical over-rev).
2. Avoid letting off on the throttle or braking while turning at speed; instead, try entering the turn slowly and accelerating out of it.
3. If it hasn't been done already, retorque your rear axle nuts. Revised torque spec is 220 lb/ft, not 181. Unstake, remove, regrease (just the face of the nut that contacts the hub, not the threads), retorque to 220 and restake. Search "axle nut torque" for more info and pix.
4. AP1 owners, check your oil level frequently (at least every 1,000 miles if not more frequently). If low, top it off. Stay away from Mobil1 synthetic if at all possible.
