Hi, I am just wondering how many of you are around the Flushing, Queens.. I am thinking to go over there this weekend or next, am interesting to meet up with some NY S2K gang member..!! so, let me know if that is doable..!!

lived in flushing for a very long time, then moved out here to jersey.. my parents still live in the area and i visit them once in a while.

Flushing is always not a good place to park the car unless you have a parking spot, I used to have one..!! but no more..!! Well, hey, that sounds good to me, I may be there Friday next week..( gotta go nework airport and go back to Taiwan) so, maybe I could meet you guys before it..!! :)

As you are from RI you may not understand that we who live in Upstate are frequently asked where we are in "the city". We are 7 hours or more away from the city, and we are not "the city". We may love NYC, and we may be in complete appreciation for their situation, but we are Upstate. We are proud of those things that make us unique. We are wine country. We are wilderness. We are the Finger Lakes Region. We are not NYC. The entire state is great, I love NYC, I lived there for a while, but as an Upstater, I can say there are a lot of us who do not want to be thought of as being in NYC.

And yes, "Flushing" being related to a toilet, seems to be funny to me! I'm not implying Flushing NYC is a bad place, it is a play on words. If you have no sense of humor, I suspect this is a bad place to hang.

The last thing I would want to do is disparage anything in NYC. I support NYC. I'm a New Yorker who understands that diversity is what makes us great, it is what gives us the strength to endure.

And yes, I thought it was funny and demonderrick must have because I just noticed his reply was "going down" the same sort of pipe.
