Notice the seat is forward to clear the bar. Not to good for us tall folk.

i wondering how much it's going to cost?
and how much it's going to affact the seat travel?
and the soft or hard top?

This is the same basic design I'm going with in the Spring. I will use a custom tube bender locally, an individual who makes lots of custom roll bars for my crazy friends who enjoy track events. The horizontal bar can be made out of flat stock for the belt mounting points and that would allow the seats to go back a little farther.

I'm curious how you plan on mounting the bar to the car - I'm not familiar with all the structural points on our cars.

Are those shocks in back of the rollbar? or some sort of spring system?

This one looks very similar.



I was told by someone this was the cusco (sp?) rollbar.

Not shocks, no. But the builder did use a similar sort of attachment mechanism. Not the best for strength, but much easier than welding the exact angles.
