Going back to the track for the second time ever tonight..

Hopefully I get some good times and nice mph since the runs don't start until 8:30, and don't end until midnight.. Hopefully it's not balls hot and muggy!!

Wish me luck fellas!!

The best I ran 14.019, launching at 7k revs riding the clutch out.

60'=2.110
MPH:96.25

Mods were: k&n filter dropped into oem airbox (gutted), an unknown custom catback exhaust. Also had crappy rear tyres set to 22 psi and slipping clutch. (AP1) Was on 17" Cr Kais, not sure if they weigh more or less then the stock ap1 wheels

Hey yall,
Took the S to the drag strip the other night and had HORRIBLE times. Granted it was my first time racing on a drag strip, or launching from a dig by the way. Only mods I have are a gutted air box, K&N drop in filter and an Invidia V3 dual exhaust.

My best run when I launched at 7500 on the stock diff ( )

was a ET in the 1/8th of 9.5878.... obviously I'm doing something horribly wrong. A little help please?

RT was 0.0904
60ft was 2.3381
330ft was 6.2990
594ft was 8.9849
1/8ET was 9.5878 ET MPH was 74.65

it's obviously my driving, any tips?

Well, as embarassing as this is to admit, I was launching the car COMPLETELY wrong and in fact doing more damage to the clutch when I thought I was saving it. I was feathering/babying the clutch out of the gate not dropping it like I should have been. I retried my launches on asphault and they are a world of difference Now just to wait for thursday and have a re-run.

Well it was 100* and humid/muggy as hell

Couldn't get the car out the hole and ran a best of 14.6 @ 97.. 60fts were terrible and I eventually figured out that I was letting off too early..

Imma go back when it gets cooler.. All my friends that came out that night all ran slower times than usual, but I didn't run any faster than I did last year when I ran in the same conditions bone stock..

So idk.. I know it's all in the launch, I just can't get it to go like I can on the street..
