Looks interesting. What makes the 135 different than the 335?

apparently not much...

same 335i engine, slightly lighter, and a better price point... apprently the M3 is going to be V8 with the introduction of the 1 series.

yeah its coming to Canada too (tho not sure if we get BOTH engines), see details and pics here:

http://edbmw.com/blog/2007/06/28/bmw-135i-...l-press-photos/

looks like it will be a very sweet car for the price...tho i wonder how much the more powerful one will be over the base (which is still good). id rock one for sure.

"On sale in the spring of 2008, the 1 Series Coupe will be available in two versions; the 128i and the 135i. Powered by a 3.0-liter, 230 horsepower inline 6-cyinder engine that generates 200 lb-ft of torque, the 128i Coupe will feature Valvetronic valvetrain management and aluminum/magnesium contruction

Nice car, there is a video of the GTi vs the 135i somewhere on youtube. Is the 135i FWD?

I think it's not that much lighter than the E90. It has the exact same dimension and wheelbase as the RX-8, so it's going to be a smaller-looking car. The question is would you be able to live with the perception of driving a poseur Bimmer, even though it is one of the fastest Bimmer ever.

agreed. thats one of the factors... id buy the car for the driver's experience and not because of the "BMW" name, i want to get away from being name branded... it looks to be a well built machine and thats what counts in my book.

I looks nice but what's with the huge nose/headlights? The front end of the 335i looks much better imo..

The Mini.

BAAAAAAMN! :lalala:

You guys are behind the times, we Prairie Redliners have been talkin about this for weeks! Not a bad machine, in my opinion! Definite size difference between the 135 and the 335. Backseat on the 135 looks big enough for a duffel bag or maybe a kid or a Marta.
Mods: 4.77s, DCSports Header, Comptech Exhaust, Berk Test Pipe, AEM V2 Intake, Rick's Countersunk Shift Knob, Audio upgraded, Amuse replica lip, AP2 rear bumper.
