sorry these are not fia approved.

but if you want to certify these for competition track event all you need to do is connect a back brace from this to your roll cage.
other than that alot of other events let you have non-FIA approved seats.

just like alot of other seats like BRIDE, MOMO, MUGEN, SPoon alot of these seats are not FIA approved until you hit high rates for the seats to be FIA approved

I bought two Type IIIs last year and coupled them with Taitec rails to get my 6'3" frame as low as possible in the car. The seating position was perfect but the seats were in my car for all of 20 minutes. I have a 34" waist and it was absolutely impossible for me to fit my hips into the seat. Seat quality was wonderful, though. Sold the seats to a local guy with a much smaller waist...

I got the Type III and buddyclub seat rails from them. I have 32" waists and this seat fits great. Actually a little big but much better than the stock seats. The real reason for getting them was the seating height, though. Now I can see the lights at a stoplight and my head doesn't feel as cold when driving... (I'm 6' and a lot of my head used to stick out...it still sticks out the top but not as much)

The only bad thing is that I don't care for their logo on the seat cushion...
