Since everyone has been asking me about these...

I still have a few of these mesh grill leftover if anyone is interested. Already Pre-cut to fit the OEM hood. Its made of 14 guage aluminum.

Asking $30 (for 3 mesh inserts).
PM me if you want them installed. ;)

For the DIY guys you could get them here for about $60 shipped.

Let me know and I could bring them to LI or Queens Meet. For Jersey pips you could pick them up from my work place in Ridgefield NJ 07657.

Thanks,
Ray

Do you wanna cut my carbon fiber hood? :D

Hey James do you go to Stonybrook? I think you know my buddy Vinh and Anthony. They were telling me about a silver s2000 that had the hood cut and I told them I saw a silver one on this forum that had the same description. I just went to Ant's myspace and in one of the videos I think you commented and said "who's S is that in the background?" That's my S that I just recently got.

The oldest known code of laws is the Hammurabi from ancient Babylonia, about 1750 BC. It called for the death penalty for proprietors found guilty of watering down their beer.

^Thanks Joe. :)

Extra water? Well you could look at it as an added incentive to wash under your hood after every car wash. Your engine is better off because of it. See how that works out, Borris. :D

No problem whatsoever. The only thing you need to watch out for is when you have an aftermarket OPEN intake. You have to make sure it is not sitting directly under the largest grille. However if you don't drive your car when it rains (like Markus :) ) then you can take full advantage of having a vented hood since your intake is actual sucking in fresh air from above. If you have stock intake then it's even better since you are sucking fresh air plus its protected from any water coming in. So you got nothing to worry about. And remember, your headers or stock exhaust manifold is on the same side as the grille. So it lets the heat right out. I could go on and on but all these functionality aside, get it for the looks. And you gotta admit, it DOES look DAMN good. :D
