KraftWerks will be releasing kits for all models of S2000.
AP2 will release ahead of the AP1, but only by a month or two.

The Hondata engine management used on the KraftWerks High-Boost kit is a proprietary Hondata ECU flash. The ECU mapping has been tested by KraftWerks and Hondata thoroughly, and meets the highest standards in tuning and reliability. The flash adjusts your system to the highest reliable, day-drivable mapping available. No need to further adjust!

The ECU flash adjusts:
Fuel
Timing
VTEC Engagement
RPM limit
Closed-loop Fuel for increased fuel efficiency
Injector Compensation
ETC...

The CARB-Legal/Base kit uses an independent unit, the SuperCard.
The High-Boost kit will use the Hondata ECU flash.
The Hondata ECU flash is a flash to the S2000 ECU.
A shipping box to send your ECU into Hondata will be provided, at no additional charge.

The international S2000 will not be supported in the initial release. International S2000 will eventually have an option.

This pricing covers all S2000s.
The CARB-Legal kit will pass VA emissions.

The stock head gasket will be utilized in all of our kits.

There will be an upgrade path from Base kit to High-Boost kit.

Installation-

Total installation time and required tools will be provided in our installation instructions and will be available closer to the kit release. The install time has not been timed as of yet (production pieces needed), but I would expect under 6 hours. An average home mechanic with proper tools should have no problems following our installation instructions.

KraftWerks has yet to announce our 00-05 High-Boost electronics solution.
The Hondata reflash will be locked.

No "clutch-style" pulley system will be used on the supercharger kits.
You say you are looking for mileage and power. You can get both! On our Base kits we typically see an INCREASE in highway mileage. So no need to disconnect the supercharger.

Base Kit Electronics:
All CARB-Legal/Base kits will come with the SuperCard for tuning. The SuperCard is a proprietary fuel injection module and uses advanced software for tuning. The SuperCard is easy to install, with plug and play simplicity at the injectors.

The SuperCard comes with all the mapping required, no need to tune. Contrary to popular belief, the SuperCard is not a "basemap" to get you to a dyno or to "get you down the road." Also, the SuperCard really isn't a "piggyback" by traditional standards.

We spend a lot of time testing our electronics so that they will work across a whole range of situations; much like a typical OEM manufacturer.

We enjoy our SuperCard product because it is simple for you, and it works seamlessly with the vehicle; at all throttle positions, all altitudes, all temperatures, all conditions.

The SuperCard is locked for CARB certification.

Say, something I haven't heard asked here: Does this kit come with any guarantee or warranty? As in, 'properly installed and maintained, good for 6 months or 10,000 miles' kind of thing. Just curious. PPP
The Rotrex charger has a 2yr warranty.

Sorry if this is a repost, but here's what I would guess is an early dyno for the unfinished product:
http://motegi.vtec.net/articles/article-im...s2k_hb_dyno.gif

It sounds like they're still doing tuning, so I'd bet this is about as final as the earlier chart (which was declared "not at all representative"), but it may show something of the project status.

355.7WHP / 236.6 TQ
VTEC appears to start at ~4200RPM
The chart stops at 7950RPM

The data came from TOV here.

edit: first link fixed.

The "pre-orders" in January will be for AP2 kits for sure, with continued pre-orders added throughout the month, for AP1 and such.

The holidays have really hindered production from our vendors and we will not be able to keep our original time-line. We have our parts ready and complete, but unfortunately, not all pieces are done in-house.

Honestly, I expect our kits for the S2000 to release in February. November/December are hard months to get things produced, but we attempted anyway. We are so close, and we apologize for the slight delay. We believe the product will be better in the end because of the added time.

Website:
I apologize as well for the incomplete website going live. This was a decision out of my hands, and we are working on getting the rest of it wrapped up. Our products page will be straightened out once we get some content you can look at. But since we do not have parts, it is hard to give you something you want to look at; a kit available for purchase!
