Haha ... I'd think that's cool, I wish I could see a local S2000 do 0-60 @ 5.2sec+/-.

Im curious as too what this thread is about and why it hasnt been kicked to anywhere else but here. HE asked we said no. that should be the end of it. We dont need this kind of bickering in the local fourm. Im going too 2000-atlanta.com where its safe from trolls.

Was that plug for the site shameless enough.

S2000 is faster 60'
S2000 is faster overall, is a convertable, looks better. thats enough for me.

Now you bring an EVO and I will get excited.

Damn see how I got sucked in.

Yeah it's all fun and games w/ me. I don't care if I beat or get beat. It's just nice to gauge myself. 100 shots of NO2 is right from the above statement. The S2000 definitely looks nice, too small, and not practice. If I ever decided to get a roadster I go w/ a S2000. AWD was definietly fun in the ice and snow a few months ago. I'm not a teenager but I like to have fun when I'm not at work. Toys are fun.

That's a very respectable stance.

I guess I need to add my few cents worth. As owner of both a stock 2001 S2000 and stock 2002 WRX I drive 'em both. And I have to say in all fairness my heart is in the S2000, but I LOVE to drive my WRX. In daily driving, the WRX wins hands down. There are very few cars that match the acceleration and grunt this car has, and under certain driving conditions the WRX pulls away everytime. In my S2000 I have to keep the car in a lower gear just under the VTECH range and even then the torque kills me. In the WRX I just step on it and it goes! Nothing corners like the S2000 and nothing rallies like the WRX. Just depends on the type of driving you want to do.

I agree ... thanks for your input. I wish the WRX cornered like an S2000 from factory ... it will once DMS goes on.

What color is your WRX and what mods if any have you done? Have you been to any of the Troncalli meets?

Mine is the popular Blue Pearl. I've done no mods yet. I am ready to improve the suspension and brakes. That's the only complaint I have about the WRX - brakes. The S2000 stops on a dime. I get into the ABS too easily in the WRX. I need to attend one of the meets just to get some ideas for mods. I don't want to spend the BIG bucks but I would like some nice modest mods that will improve the response and handling.

You can always drop by my place on the monthly get togethers I have at my place. There's usually 8-10 WRX w/ 10-14 people who show up. We go have dinner and chill out later w/ some pool and table tennis.
