I'd be concerned that the IC wouldn't get the same airflow as being front mounted. I know a lot of the v-mounts are intended to decrease any pressure loss due to longer piping to the fmic, but I'd have to see some empirical data to compare efficiency and post-ic temps to convince me they get better flow.

If you're just doing it for looks, well, do whatever you want, I guess.

I know one thing, here in FL, if I did any city driving, I wouldn't want that IC in my engine bay soaking up all the heat.
from what i understand the V-mount will allow you to run cooler. The Vmount allows both the radiator and intercooler to get a sufficien amount of air. In a normal FMIC setup the intercooler blocks a good amt of air that could have been used by the radiator. I think there was a guy who posted up that he had a vmount is like arizona or somewhere hottttt and that he had no heat soak issues.

Why have the breather box with seperate connections when you have a couple of good ports for air to exit, I threw on a filter on the front breather port and left the other hooked up to the manifold with a catch can.

actually we've been driving the car all summer here in Phoenix, AZ. I've lived in florida. Summers here are worse The car was built for the track. A V-mount was the only thing we considered in order to keep the car cool. The V-mount allows airflow to both the radiator and the IC, no heat soak in the engine bay...especially if you run the right hood

I don't see anywhere for AC lines in those two pictures, especially in that second pic with that crazy ELTM and FRONT FRONT mount turbo. That turbo is up there where a supercharger would be. I would love to see that car in person!!

Now where is the radiator? Stock position? Do you have vents routing air?

Just interested in pics of ducting or locations of stuff. I'll be building mine for racing eventually, and if the v-mount is really that much more efficient, It'll be a route I choose, especially to shorten IC piping.

interesting. I wonder how much modification was needed for the radiator plumbing.
