Default Do you always get a cel with a bent valve?

I have been diagnosing and diagnosing and I cant get ride of this noise and a slit miss at idle. So im kinda leaning on a bent exhaust valve. The noise looks like a amplified normal rocker noise with a tick. Im going to do a comp test to be sure. I am also going to drop it off at the dealership for a valve adjustment. Is there any way that could smooth up my idle? Last but not least I have no cel so I wasnt sure if those always went hand in hand? Thank you.
